About the role

Hybrid position at Cloudflare in Lisbon, Portugal. The role is a trusted technical advisor within the GTM organization, supporting SMB and DNB customers through the full lifecycle with AI-assisted workflows and a focus on architecture, adoption, and business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Technical Validation: Lead technical discovery with Account Executives, define PoCs, deliver presentations and diagrams showing how Cloudflare addresses performance, security, reliability, and developer-platform challenges.
  • Customer Adoption & Value Realization: Guide onboarding and adoption with structured success plans and architectural guidance; support DNS migrations, Zero Trust rollouts, and WAF optimization; collaborate with other teams to manage health and identify expansion opportunities.
  • Commercial Accountability & Expansion: Contribute to targets for new business, adoption, retention, and account growth; identify cross-sell/upsell opportunities and translate capabilities into business outcomes.
  • Trusted Advisory: Build relationships with technical and business stakeholders; advise on architecture, security posture, developer platforms, AI control layers, and adoption strategy; identify risks early and propose improvements.
  • AI Orchestration & Workflow Automation: Use AI agents, LLMs, and internal platforms to automate routine tasks and free time for strategic advisory.
  • Education & Enablement: Design and deliver reusable technical resources, demonstrations, workshops, and documentation to accelerate adoption and share knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Up to 1–5 years of professional experience in a customer-facing technical role (Sales Engineering, technical consulting, technical support, or related).
  • Architectural mindset to understand and explain network, security, application, or developer-platform architectures.
  • Consultative and commercial mindset; strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple engagements within a pooled team.
  • Technical breadth in at least three areas: Internet fundamentals, Security, Performance, AI proficiency, Coding/Scripting, Developer Platform Fluency.
  • Languages: Native-like fluency in English and Swedish OR Russian.
