About the role
Field Marketing Manager responsible for building and running Ema’s on-the-ground presence across the UK and Europe, coordinating regional events, partnerships, and demand programs to generate qualified pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Regional Event Planning: Build and maintain the UK and Europe event calendar within the global strategy and budget set by our Marketing Lead. Recommend which conferences, tradeshows and sponsorships to back in each market, based on target accounts, pipeline and cost. Know the difference between an event that matters in London and one that matters in Munich or Amsterdam.
- Event Execution & Operations: Plan, manage and execute end-to-end logistics for industry conferences, tradeshows and Ema-hosted events across the UK and Europe. Manage all on-site operations: booth design, staffing, signage, swag, shipping, A/V, catering and speaker logistics. Handle cross-border details: shipping and customs between the UK and EU, local venues and suppliers, GDPR-compliant lead capture.
- Pipeline & Sales Alignment: Work with the BDR team and Sales to align event programming with target accounts and pipeline goals in each market. Coordinate pre-event outreach, booth and event activations, and post-event follow-up to drive lead conversion. Ensure timely follow-up of every event lead.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate with AI Strategists, Product Marketing and Design for demos, collateral and messaging. Support broader demand-generation campaigns and partner co-marketing events. Work across time zones with US-based marketing and leadership.
- Measurement & Optimisation: Track and report on event performance by market (leads, pipeline, cost per lead, attendance, deal acceleration) and share insights to improve the program.
Qualifications
- 5–7+ years of field marketing, event marketing or demand-gen experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise technology, with a track record of running events in the UK and at least one other European market. Startup experience required.
- Working knowledge of the European event circuit and market expectations across London, Paris and DACH shows.
- Exceptional project management skills with ability to juggle 5+ events concurrently.
- Hands-on operator mindset with readiness to handle setup tasks and logistics.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration with Sales, BDRs, Product Marketing and executives, including across time zones.
- Experience with HubSpot and marketing automation to track attribution and ROI, plus practical GDPR knowledge for event data.
- Proficiency with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) for drafting briefs and analyzing data.
- Comfort with ambiguity and fast-moving environments in a Series B company.
- High agency and ownership mindset as the first field marketer in Europe.
