About the role

Product Manager responsible for the UX and growth of the non-biology aspects of the Plasmidsaurus web app, focusing on onboarding, collaboration, payments, order/logistics tracking, account settings, emails, internationalization, workspaces and sharing, to accelerate customer conversion and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Talk to world-class researchers about moving their science faster and distill customer voice into a roadmap with engineering teams.
  • Create incredible user experiences and ensure Plasmidsaurus is the benchmark customers mention.
  • Own the surfaces that aren't sequencing: onboarding, collaboration, payments, order and logistics tracking, account settings, emails, internationalization, workspaces and sharing.
  • Growth: improve analytics and visibility into key customer workflows; identify dropout points in onboarding, ordering, and sharing results; run experiments to fix it.

Qualifications

  • A track record of shipping and shaping a B2B product into something customers love.
  • Agency mindset: proactive with analytics, user interviews, prototypes, and keeping engineers up to date.
  • Preference for prototypes over PRDs/Claude artifacts/standalone HTML.
  • Great product judgment and UX sense.
  • Ability to ramp quickly in technical domains; no science background required but willingness to learn about complex topics.
