About the role
Staff Software Engineer role focused on Provider Growth, Acquisition & Supply Management to ensure sufficient provider supply and smooth onboarding, with an emphasis on building robust systems and aligning product and technical strategies. Remote-first, US-based (excluding Hawaii).
Responsibilities
- Bring order to ambiguity and design robust systems to impact the provider experience
- Lead initiatives across multiple teams and influence technical strategy without direct authority
- Build and maintain production web applications with depth in frontend, backend, data modeling, and distributed systems
- Use AI-assisted software development tools as part of regular engineering workflows
- Foster a high-performing engineering culture through code reviews, technical documentation, and mentoring junior engineers
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to align around a shared vision
Qualifications
- 8+ years of related professional software engineering experience building scalable distributed systems
- Strong full-stack engineering experience building and maintaining production web applications (frontend, backend, data modeling, distributed systems)
- Experience leading initiatives across multiple teams and influencing technical strategy without direct authority
- Hands-on experience using AI-assisted software development tools (such as Claude Code)
- Passion for fostering a high-performing engineering culture through code reviews, technical documentation, and mentoring junior engineers
- Strong communication skills to align technical and non-technical stakeholders around a shared vision
