About the role

Senior procurement leader responsible for strategic sourcing, vendor contract management, procurement platform ownership, financial transparency, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure compliant, efficient purchasing across the company.

Responsibilities

  • Own how the company buys from intake to contract renewal, leading strategic sourcing and negotiating complex vendor contracts
  • Manage and optimize the Zip procurement platform, improving intake routing, approval speed, and user experience
  • Analyze spend, build financial models, and partner with Finance to align purchasing with budget
  • Create a proactive renewal tracking system and maintain auditable records of vendor commitments to prevent auto-renewals or lapses
  • Collaborate with Legal, Privacy, AI, Security, and Finance to support business needs while maintaining standards
  • Build a clear, efficient, and supportive purchasing process across the organization

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive procurement experience, including at least 7 years in strategic sourcing, with hands-on sourcing and leadership of procurement teams
  • Contract negotiation and sourcing: drafting, negotiating, and managing commercial contracts
  • Financial analysis and budgeting: spend analysis, financial modeling, and ensuring alignment with budget
  • Cross-functional collaboration with Legal, Privacy, AI, Security, and Finance
  • Governance and renewal management: understanding legal/regulatory requirements and auditable tracking for renewals
  • Project and priority management: managing multiple sourcing projects and deadlines
  • Thriving in fast-paced environments: ability to create clarity, structure, and priorities
