About the role

Elastic is seeking a General Business Territory Account Executive focusing on Emerging/Growth Accounts across the United States. This role is an individual contributor responsible for building new business and expanding Elastic’s footprint within a defined set of high-potential accounts, leveraging Elastic cloud solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Building awareness and driving demand for Elastic solutions within the defined accounts by developing and executing a territory strategy/partner plan
  • Serving as an evangelist of our technology, leading with GenAI, Vector Search, Security, and Observability
  • Identify and qualify new opportunities within existing accounts leveraging creativity, inbound leads, prospecting, contacts, and partners
  • Work cross-functionally with sales development, marketing, partner, product and customer service teams to deliver outstanding results
  • Identify new business opportunities with customers, manage the sales cycle, and close complex transactions
  • Build a robust business plan using Salesforce, Clari, Outreach and ZoomInfo

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years sales experience in the software industry preferred
  • Track record of selling SaaS subscriptions and growing/managing current and new customers
  • Forecasting experience of weekly, monthly, and quarterly cadence
  • Passion for building new customer relationships and cross-functional collaboration
  • Technologically adept with strong written and oral communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Based out of Austin, Texas preferred, covering accounts across the United States
