About the role
Enterprise customers pursue AI adoption; this role leads end-to-end workforce transformation engagements, diagnosing current state, defining change needs, building transformation plans, and driving adoption with Databricks' largest customers.
Responsibilities
- Own the full transformation lifecycle for each customer, from workforce assessment through capability pathways, operating rhythm, and measurement. You build the plan and you execute it.
- Run 2 to 3 concurrent engagements across different formats, from short-cycle assessments to coached transformations to deep embedded engagements.
- Design for multiple organizational layers within a single engagement (executive sponsorship with CDOs/CIOs/CHROs and manager/individual contributor adoption layers).
- Drive execution, not just planning: stand up operating rhythm, coach internal champions, unblock adoption barriers, and adjust the plan as needed.
- Design the human-agent collaboration model for each customer’s workforce, distinguishing human, automated, agent-assisted, or agent-led workflows, with pathways for builders and users.
- Shape engagement scoping and pricing; ensure commercial commitments are deliverable.
- Turn learnings into repeatable tools and playbooks scalable beyond practitioner-led delivery.
- Partner with technical deployment, AI transformation, and account teams; own post-solution delivery outcomes.
Qualifications
- 8 or more years leading workforce or organizational transformation in a technology adoption context.
- Experience with C-suite or VP-level sponsorship and large-scale technology adoption.
- Hands-on delivery background (customer-side data/engineering leaders, solutions architects/engineers turned transformation roles, or consultants with delivery experience).
- Ability to assess workflows, identify changes, and design capability pathways.
- Understanding of change management, sponsorship models, adoption curves, resistance patterns, and internal champion development.
- Comfort with ambiguity and building playbooks iteratively.
- Comfort with commercial aspects including engagement scoping and pricing input.
- Familiarity with data and AI platforms and enterprise adoption challenges.
- Professional services, management consulting, or customer success background is a plus.
