About the role

Senior Solutions Engineer on Twilio’s Digital Sales Communications team focused on pre-sales activities for complex, technical products with customer-facing responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers to understand communications needs and guide them to technical solutions
  • Present and communicate complex topics to diverse audiences and gain audience confidence
  • Deliver high-impact pre-sales demonstrations and technical guidance
  • Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to align solutions with customer requirements
  • Develop deep understanding of customer environments, including telecom, SIP, contact center or security considerations
  • Leverage cloud platform familiarity to support solution architecture discussions in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (desired)
  • Contribute to sales methodology and best practices within the team

Qualifications

  • 5+ years pre-sales experience selling complex, technical products or 6+ years of professional experience supporting technical products with customer-facing delivery/consulting
  • Excellent communicator and presenter with strong storytelling ability
  • Ability to understand and translate customer needs into technical solutions
  • Previous software development experience or working knowledge in relevant technical areas
  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
