About the role
Product Partnerships leader responsible for building Pace's technology ecosystem with frontier AI labs, core insurance platforms, data providers, and other strategic technology partners to create differentiated product capabilities, integrations, and joint go-to-market motions.
Responsibilities
- Own Pace's product and technology partnerships: Build senior relationships and joint plans across frontier AI labs, core systems of record, insurance software platforms, data providers, cloud providers, and marketplaces.
- Define the product-partnership strategy: Prioritize partners and opportunities based on customer demand, product differentiation, revenue potential, and strategic leverage. Develop a clear strategy for each partner archetype and a scorecard for each relationship.
- Create joint customer value propositions: Identify where Pace agents can combine with partner models, data, workflows, or platforms to solve high-value insurance operations problems. Ensure partnerships have concrete customer outcomes.
- Shape integrations and product roadmaps: Scope pre-built connectors, embedded workflows, model capabilities, and reusable deployment patterns with Product, Engineering, and Applied AI; translate needs into product requirements and sequencing decisions.
- Develop new commercial models: Structure co-sell, resell, marketplace, licensing, white-label, and embedded-product opportunities; own the business case and coordinate across legal, security, and technical work.
- Turn partnerships into revenue: Build joint business plans, account maps, launch plans, and field enablement; collaborate with Sales to drive partner-influenced pipeline and ARR.
- Lead complex cross-functional programs: Align partner product teams, Pace engineers, customer stakeholders, and GTM teams on scope, ownership, timelines, and outcomes.
- Build technical credibility with frontier partners: Understand Pace architecture, model-routing, security, APIs, deployment options; interact credibly with technical leaders at partner companies.
- Measure and improve partnership health: Establish objectives and operating cadences for roadmap progress, adoption, pipeline, revenue, reliability, and customer outcomes.
- Scale the operating model: Create playbooks, governance, and processes to manage a growing product-partner ecosystem.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in product partnerships, platform partnerships, business development, product strategy, or similar cross-functional roles in AI, enterprise SaaS, fintech, or insurtech.
- Experience taking technical partnerships from idea to launch (scoping, commercial structuring, integration delivery, go-to-market activation).
- Technical fluency to work with product and engineering on APIs, data flows, models, security, deployment architecture, and integration tradeoffs.
- Ability to turn ambiguous strategic relationships into focused roadmaps, business cases, and executable plans.
- Understanding of platform and ecosystem business models: co-sell, resell, marketplaces, embedded products, licensing, white-label.
- Customer-problem-first mindset to distinguish valuable integrations from partnership theater.
- Effective executive communication while handling detailed product, commercial, and delivery issues.
- Ability to build trust across cross-functional teams without formal authority.
- High-ownership mindset with accountability for shipped capabilities and outcomes.
- Bonus: Experience with frontier AI labs, insurance platforms/data providers, cloud marketplaces, or enterprise ecosystems; existing relationships with Anthropic, OpenAI, Guidewire, Verisk, or Vertafore; or prior startup experience.
