About the role

Data Analyst role responsible for turning transaction data into reliable analytics, defining KPIs, building data models and dashboards, automating invoicing, and designing experiments to improve recovery metrics in Murphy AI's AI-powered debt collection platform.

Responsibilities

  • Own the numbers. Define the KPIs every team runs on, and ensure consistent calculations across the organization.
  • Build the source of truth. Write data models and dashboards that convert raw call, debt and payment data into trusted answers.
  • Automate invoicing. Create pipelines to process billing across banks and currencies autonomously.
  • Prove what works. Design and analyze experiments to measure lift in recovery.
  • Dive deep and problem solve. Identify root causes of anomalies and fix them at the source.

Qualifications

  • STEM degree, top of class.
  • Highly analytical and precise, with experience building metrics and models used in business decisions.
  • Fluent in SQL and Python.
  • Ownership mindset: driven to improve numbers until they influence decisions.
  • AI-native mindset with strong emphasis on quality and governance of AI-driven processes.
  • Ability to learn new domain and regulations quickly; fintech/collections background not required.
