About the role

Role responsible for end-to-end People Operations across multiple countries, owning payroll, HRIS, employee lifecycle, compliance, and process automation while leading a team.

Responsibilities

  • Make payroll accurate and reliable in every country: select, manage and replace local providers as needed, and own the monthly close (calendar, cut-offs, pre- and post-run checks, reconciliation with Finance)
  • Own our HRIS (HiBob) as our single source of truth, and its connection to payroll in every country
  • Run the employee lifecycle, benefits and ESOP administration across Italy, Spain, France, Germany, Bulgaria and every new market opened
  • Keep each country compliant: map risks, decide what to fix first and track closure
  • Design processes and data with measurement in mind, and use AI to remove manual work
  • Lead and grow the team

Qualifications

  • Solid experience in HR or People Operations, owning processes end to end, including the Italian employment framework
  • Hands-on experience running payroll through external providers: month-end close, controls, reconciliations and provider management
  • Experience owning an HRIS and connecting it to payroll (e.g. HiBob with JetHR, PayFit, Deel)
  • A track record of automating HR processes, with concrete AI use cases you can walk us through
  • Fluent Italian and English
