About the role

Contract accountant role supporting month-end close, AR, AP, and billing processes for a fast-growing SaaS company. Remote, contract position with overlapping hours to align with Pacific Time team and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Support the monthly close: reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries.
  • Work AR: invoice follow-up, cash application, and aging.
  • Work AP: vendor bills, approvals, and payment runs.
  • Resolve billing-related tickets from customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of accounting experience covering month-end closes, AR, and AP.
  • Experience at a SaaS or other high-growth company.
  • Hands-on with accounting and billing tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Stripe, Bill.com).
  • Comfortable working remotely and independently.
