About the role

Senior Billing Manager responsible for building and owning enterprise accounts receivable and billing processes from scratch, including invoicing, collections, and cash application for a fast-growing SaaS/usage-based company.

Responsibilities

  • Build the enterprise AR process from scratch: invoicing, collections cadence, and cash application.
  • Own collections for enterprise accounts: aging, DSO, and disputes.
  • Set up invoicing for large contracts, including committed-spend and usage-based terms.
  • Work with Sales, Customer Success, and customers' AP teams on escalations.
  • Choose and set up the AR and billing tools; automate what you can.
  • Guide the contract accountants and report on AR health.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years in AR, billing, or collections, including enterprise B2B.
  • Has built an AR or collections process from scratch at a high-growth SaaS or usage-based company.
  • Hands-on with billing and finance tools (e.g., Stripe, NetSuite, QuickBooks).
  • Confident working with large customers' AP and procurement teams.
  • Solid accounting fundamentals: AR aging, cash application, reconciliations.
