About the role

Founding Solutions Engineer for France and Southern EMEA to build and scale Synthesia’s pre-sales function, shaping playbooks, tooling and best practices while partnering with Account Executives, Customer Success and Product Marketing to deliver demos, run discovery, scope POCs, and design technical solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Co-plan and support discovery calls with your AE to understand customer requirements, technical environment, and business challenges.
  • Design and execute repeatable demo methodologies that prove Synthesia's business value quickly across product lines (Studio at scale, Roleplay Sessions, Interactive Avatars).
  • Build and maintain knowledge of Synthesia's platform capabilities, roadmap, and positioning to speak to value across product lines.
  • Deliver demonstrations that address customer problems and tell a credible story of why Synthesia is the right solution.
  • Identify technical objections and integration questions, working with AE and ecosystem to find a path forward.
  • Contribute assessment of technical fit and opportunity risk to help AE shape account and deal strategy.
  • Keep deal team and manager informed on deal status, timeline, and technical dependencies.
  • Identify and enable technical champions within customer organizations to advocate for Synthesia internally.
  • Provide technical guidance on platform capabilities, API/SDK integrations, security, compliance (SOC 2, GDPR, enterprise identity), and scalability for global deployments; troubleshoot issues and validate integrations with LMS, HCM, and content systems.
  • Partner with Enablement to complete certifications, stay current on releases, and maintain demo and objection-handling skills.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of pre-sales, solutions engineering, or customer-facing technical experience in a SaaS environment (or equivalent).
  • Delivers strong standard demos aligned to discovery points and agenda with AE; solid core demo technique (Tell-Show-Tell).
  • Applies established solution designs and best practices to customer use cases; collaborates with Product and Customer Success as needed.
  • Identifies deal risk and next steps; escalates clearly to AE for action.
  • Working knowledge of MEDDPICC and Command of the Message; ability to articulate Synthesia's fit to prospects.
  • Resourceful with ability to find right people/tools internally and build GTM network.
  • Comfortable with technical fundamentals in at least one area (creation flows, APIs, integrations, security, compliance) and eager to deepen.
  • Self-motivated, organized; able to manage growing book of POCs, demos, and conversations while meeting deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel for customer discovery and on-site demos.
  • Strong written and spoken communication in English and French.
