About the role

Senior Solutions Engineer to build Synthesia’s pre-sales function in France and Southern EMEA. Founding SE role responsible for discovery, demos, POCs, and designing technical solutions, partnering with AE, CS and Product Marketing to demonstrate value and feedback to Product.

Responsibilities

  • Co-plan and support discovery calls with your AE to understand customer requirements, technical environment, and business challenges.
  • Design and execute repeatable demo methodologies that prove Synthesia's business value quickly across product lines.
  • Build and maintain strong working knowledge of Synthesia's platform capabilities, roadmap, and positioning across all product lines.
  • Deliver demonstrations that address customer problems and tell a credible story of why Synthesia is the right solution.
  • Identify technical objections and integration questions, working with AE and ecosystem to find a path forward.
  • Contribute assessment of technical fit and opportunity risk to help AE shape account and deal strategy.
  • Keep deal team and manager informed on deal status, timeline, and technical dependencies.
  • Identify and enable technical champions within customer organizations to advocate for Synthesia.
  • Provide technical guidance on platform capabilities, API/SDK integrations, security, compliance, and scalability for global deployments; troubleshoot issues and validate integrations with LMS, HCM, and content systems.
  • Partner with Enablement to complete certifications and stay current on new releases; keep demo and objection-handling skills sharp.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of pre-sales, solutions engineering, or customer-facing technical experience in a SaaS environment (or equivalent).
  • Delivers strong standard demos aligned to discovery points and agenda; solid grasp of core demo technique (Tell-Show-Tell).
  • Applies established solution designs and best practices to customer use cases; collaborates with Product, CS as needed.
  • Identifies deal risk and next steps; escalates clearly to AE.
  • Working knowledge of MEDDPICC and Command of the Message; can articulate fit for prospect.
  • Resourceful and builds internal network across GTM organization.
  • Comfortable with technical fundamentals in at least one area (creation flows, APIs, integrations, security, compliance) and eager to deepen.
  • Self-motivated and organized; can manage growing book of POCs, demos, and conversations while meeting deadlines.
  • Willing to travel for customer discovery and on-site demos as needed.
  • Stays ahead in AI-native learning and enablement to discuss shifts toward interactive practice and measurable skill development.
  • Strong written and spoken communication in English and French.
