About the role

Role on Frontier Data team focusing on building environments, evaluations, and datasets to extend frontier model capabilities; autonomous systems engineering, ML tooling, and collaboration with researchers to run large-scale tasks and productionize solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build RL environments, evaluations, and datasets that target high-value gaps in frontier model capability
  • Develop internal platforms and supporting infrastructure to run hundreds of thousands of tasks at scale, with the throughput, reproducibility, and observability that demands
  • Collaborate directly with researchers and engineers at leading AI labs to scope and shape dataset development against their model roadmaps
  • Make quality measurable — build the grading harnesses, metrics, and automated checks that tell us whether an environment or dataset is actually good
  • Prototype fast, then harden what works into production systems others can run without you
  • Contribute back to our open source projects where it accelerates the broader community

Qualifications

  • Practical experience with agents, evaluations, or RL workflows
  • Strong technical background and written communication
  • Nice to have: experience with computer vision or multimodal models, or prior work with an AI lab as a data or evaluation partner
