About the role

Highly skilled, customer-focused Solutions Architect to work with sales to engage prospects, qualify opportunities, and design edge-based computer vision solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Opportunity Qualification: Collaborate with sales to assess technical feasibility and alignment with computer vision solutions; act as trusted advisor to clients.
  • Solution Design: Design tailored hardware/software/edge deployment solutions that are scalable and secure.
  • Technical Expertise: Maintain in-depth knowledge of Roboflow's computer vision platform, deployment methods, data handling, model inference, and client integrations.
  • Demo and Proof of Concept (POC): Lead technical demos/POCs, configure demo environments, guide clients, troubleshoot issues.
  • Customer Engagement: Be primary technical contact for architecture, APIs, security, scalability, and deployment scenarios.
  • Collaboration: Collect feedback for Product/Engineering and advocate for features to meet client needs.

Qualifications

  • Experience in solutions architecture, technical sales engineering, or related role; preferably in computer vision, AI, or IoT.
  • Industry experience in Roboflow target markets (manufacturing, automotive, logistics, food processing, retail)
  • Expertise in edge-based solutions and edge computing constraints.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of computer vision, ML, and related technologies.
  • Experience with cloud and edge infrastructure (AWS, Azure IoT, or similar).
  • Proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
  • Willingness to travel ~40%.
