About the role
Senior level role on Cloudflare's Security Platform team building and operating secure, distributed infrastructure and systems for secrets and key management, internal PKI/machine identity, and related security-focused platform services.
Responsibilities
- Build and operate secure and resilient distributed systems for secrets and key management across Cloudflare’s global network.
- Strengthen/re-architect internal PKI and machine/workload identity.
- Run and support the developed systems, both operationally and by helping internal developers use them.
- Participate in On Call rotation for emergency incident response.
- Consult on the design and architecture of new systems and products to ensure secure construction and correct use of services.
Qualifications
- Software development and distributed systems design expertise.
- Linux/UNIX system administration proficiency.
- Strong security background with a focus on implementation, not policy/compliance.
