About the role

Role focused on building high-trust partnerships with benefit consultants and health plan sales teams to fuel Rula’s B2B growth in Middle Market and National Accounts, leading end-to-end discussions and navigating self-funded and fully insured dynamics to position Rula as the premier behavioral health solution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead discussions end-to-end with consultants and health plans to drive employer opportunities.
  • Build and own high-trust partnerships within the consultant and health plan community.
  • Strategic prospecting and lead discovery to identify pain points and create business urgency.
  • Navigate self-funded vs fully insured plan structures and EAP programs in discussions with employer clients.
  • Maintain CRM discipline and manage a structured pipeline to convert opportunities into signed deals.
  • Travel up to 20% as needed to engage ecosystem relationships and employer opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in healthcare (carrier or consulting firm) with 5+ years in a client-facing sales or account management role.
  • Experience engaging and co-owning consultant and healthplan relationships and influencing employer opportunities.
  • Skilled in multichannel prospecting and lead discovery; capable of identifying pain points and creating urgency.
  • Understanding of funding arrangements (self-funded vs fully insured), medical plan designs, EAP programs, and how consultants and health plan sales advise employers.
  • Ability to lead client-facing conversations end-to-end (discovery, positioning, follow-up strategy).
