About the role

Finance Functional Lead responsible for end-to-end Oracle Fusion Financials delivery, acting as the single functional owner for the Oracle Fusion Finance transformation, including roadmap, configuration, delivery, adoption, and governance of an offshore MSP.

Responsibilities

  • Product Ownership: Own the product vision, roadmap, sprint planning, and backlog for Oracle Fusion Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management, Project Accounting, Lease Accounting, Consolidations & Eliminations, Intercompany, Expenses, Billing, Revenue, Tax, Treasury, Cost Accounting, FP&A enablement).
  • Single Owner - Finance Domain Delivery: Accountable for all Oracle Fusion Finance net-new initiatives from design through go-live with end-to-end delivery and no hand-offs.
  • Key Business POC - Finance Leadership Partnership: Primary liaison for Controller, Senior Finance Leadership, and accounting teams; translate requirements into system design and build trusted partnerships.
  • Offshore MSP Governance - KTLO Oversight: Govern offshore MSP for KTLO; set quality standards and ensure SLA-aligned delivery while prioritizing transformation.
  • Solution Delivery: Hands-on functional configuration, testing, training, documentation, upgrades, release readiness, and production stability.
  • Consolidations, Eliminations & ARCS: Lead design and delivery of consolidation and intercompany elimination; implement ARCS including templates and GL integration.
  • Project Accounting & Lease Accounting: Implement and sustain Fusion Project Accounting and Lease Accounting integration with GL/FA.
  • Period Close, Audit Support & Compliance: Support month/quarter/year-end close, SOX, audit documentation, and control maintenance.
  • Intelligent Automation Delivery: Design and implement AI/automation across close, billing, reconciliations, T&E, tax, and treasury.
  • Integrations: Collaborate on extensions/integrations with adjacent Finance apps (Concur, Workday, Blackline, Workiva, Adaptive).
  • Trusted Reporting: Deliver dashboards and KPIs via Oracle BI tools (BIP/OTBI) or with BI/Analytics teams.
  • SOX Compliance & Audit Readiness: Ensure SOX-compliant controls and audit traceability across Finance modules.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of hands-on experience with Finance ERP platforms within IS&T/IT and Oracle ERP implementations.
  • Hands-on Oracle Fusion Financials: configuration, data analysis & reporting (BIP/OTBI), testing, production support.
  • Deep knowledge of core finance processes: Record-to-Report, Close, Billing, Revenue, Cost Accounting, Tax, Treasury, FP&A.
  • Experience with Consolidations & Eliminations in Oracle Fusion.
  • CPA, CMA, or direct GL/AP/AR/close/audit experience preferred.
  • Offshore MSP management experience for KTLO and support functions.
  • Executive communication skills with Controllers and VP Finance.
  • Experience leveraging AI capabilities to transform Finance operations.
  • Experience integrating and governing best-of-breed Finance applications.
  • Strong financial/analytical expertise and Oracle Finance data structures knowledge.
  • SOX, audit, and regulated-environment experience.
  • Ability to thrive in high-velocity environments with shifting priorities.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented with business outcomes mindset.
  • Project/program management experience in Agile/iterative delivery.
