About the role

Senior Brand Designer to shape SpaceXSI’s brand system and execution across the ecosystem (Grok, Grok Bot, X). Hands-on role with ownership from concept to final execution, leveraging AI-first workflows and collaboration with marketing, product, engineering, and leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Brand system: Evolve and extend the visual identity (logo, typography, color, layout, imagery, and graphic language) and document it for cross-team usage.
  • Workflows & toolkits: Create AI-assisted templates, tools, and generators to enable on-brand work without constant direct involvement.
  • Campaigns: Concept and design campaigns end to end across visuals, launch assets, web, social, paid, out-of-home, and print.
  • Creative direction: Direct agencies and freelancers with clear briefs and feedback to meet high standards.
  • Collaboration: Partner with marketing, product, engineering, and leadership; present thinking to senior stakeholders.
  • Range at speed: Manage multiple projects quickly while maintaining quality and improving processes.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of brand design experience, in-house or at an agency or studio.
  • Fluency in AI coding tools, especially Cursor. Ability to build tools, scripts, prototypes, and simple web pages.
  • Portfolio showing brand system work and shipped campaigns (bonus if it includes tools or workflows).
  • Sharp typography, layout, and art direction instincts.
  • Systems mindset for reusable processes and scalable creative work.
  • Ability to defend design decisions to designers, marketers, and leadership.
  • Fluency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Self-directed, fast, energized by variety and ambiguity.
