About the role

Hands-on role to develop and maintain HR data pipelines on GCP/BigQuery/dbt with an AI-powered analytics layer, delivering self-service reporting and insights for HR across the employee lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain data pipelines in BigQuery/dbt linking HR data across the employee lifecycle (Workday, Greenhouse, Qualtrics, ServiceNow)
  • Support and enhance the AI-powered analytics user experience
  • Develop scalable, self-service dashboards
  • Implement data governance practices (access controls, validation, documentation) for sensitive HR and compensation data
  • Build data proficiency across the HR team as part of the shift to self-service
  • Automate recurring recruiting reports to eliminate manual data wrangling
  • Translate talent data into insights to identify pipeline bottlenecks, improve candidate experience, and hiring efficiency
  • Monitor recruiting data for anomalies and build validation checks to establish one version of the truth across systems
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience building and maintaining data pipelines in GCP
  • Strong SQL and Python skills
  • Direct experience extracting/modeling data from at least one major HRIS or ATS (e.g., Workday, Greenhouse) via reporting or API
  • Experience building dashboards/data visualizations using BI platforms (Looker, Tableau) or code-based environments (Python, Streamlit, Plotly)

Qualifications

  • Broad understanding of HR programs and metrics across the employee lifecycle, including recruiting
  • Strong storytelling and presentation skills for executives and non-technical audiences
  • Experience working across geographies/time zones
  • Point of view on AI/LLM-based analytics tools; direct implementation experience is a plus
  • Builder's approach to creating solutions within architectural direction
