About the role

Presales Architect at Twilio driving technical wins by designing scalable customer engagement solutions using Twilio APIs, acting as a trusted technical advisor to enterprise prospects and collaborating with the sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with enterprise sales executives to lead technical discovery sessions, understanding complex business requirements and translating them into comprehensive Twilio solutions.
  • Design and architect scalable, secure, and resilient communication workflows using Twilio's suite of APIs (SMS, Voice, Video, Flex, etc.) tailored to client-specific use cases.
  • Develop and deliver compelling technical demonstrations, custom prototypes, and proofs-of-concept (POCs) that articulate the business value of the Twilio platform.
  • Mitigate technical risks and overcome objections during the sales cycle by providing authoritative guidance on security, compliance, integration patterns, and architectural best practices.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to relay critical market feedback, feature requests, and emerging trends from the field to influence the Twilio roadmap.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years in presales, sales engineering, or solutions architecture, preferably in CCaaS, CPaaS, or enterprise SaaS.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least one mainstream programming language (Node.js, Python, Java, or C#) and hands-on experience integrating and troubleshooting RESTful APIs.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with ability to distill complex cloud architecture, web security, and enterprise integration concepts for technical and C-level stakeholders.
