Product Designer role at Pocket, focusing on end-to-end product design across mobile, desktop, web, and hardware interactions with AI-native experiences. Owns major product experiences from concept to production, shaping onboarding, engagement, design systems, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Own major product experiences from initial concept to production.
  • Design exceptional interfaces across mobile, desktop, web, and hardware interactions.
  • Turn complex AI capabilities into intuitive, elegant, and delightful experiences.
  • Shape onboarding, activation, daily usage, and long-term engagement.
  • Obsess over typography, layout, interaction, motion, and micro-interactions.
  • Continuously improve the quality and consistency of the entire product experience.
  • Explore entirely new interaction patterns enabled by AI.
  • Design experiences around personal memory, contextual intelligence, agents, and proactive assistance.
  • Experiment with emerging AI tools to accelerate design, prototyping, and product development.
  • Challenge existing interface conventions and help define what AI-native software should feel like.
  • Work closely with engineers to rapidly prototype and ship ambitious ideas.
  • Help define and elevate Pocket's visual and interaction language.
  • Build scalable design systems without sacrificing creativity or craftsmanship.
  • Establish an exceptionally high bar for product quality.
  • Ensure design intent translates into exceptional production experiences.
  • Create a cohesive experience across hardware, software, and the broader Pocket ecosystem.
  • Think beyond pixels. Understand the customer, the problem, and the business impact.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering to ship quickly without compromising quality.
  • Take full responsibility for the quality of what you design, from idea to launch.
