Forward Deployed Engineer
About the role
Reflex is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with customers, turning their workflows into reliable software using Python and Reflex tooling. You’ll own customer projects from discovery through deployment, collaborate with founders and the engineering team, and bring customer feedback back into the product.
Responsibilities
- Talk with customers and end users to understand their workflows, pain points, and goals.
Qualifications
- A computer science degree or at least one year of hands-on software engineering experience, with projects you can walk us through.
- Strong Python fundamentals and comfort working with SQL, APIs, and Git.
- The ability to debug across application code, data, and infrastructure.
- Clear communication and curiosity about how customers operate.
- Ownership: you can take an unclear problem, ask good questions, and drive it to a working result.
- Care for correctness, usability, and performance—not just getting a prototype running.
