About the role

Full Stack Application Engineer to join Snap Inc.'s Finance Technology team. Build and operate business-critical applications connecting Finance, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing, supporting hardware development and production from planning and procurement through inventory, costing, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, deploy, and support secure and scalable web applications and services used by Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Operations teams.
  • Deliver well-defined features across the full stack, including user interfaces, APIs, business logic, data models, integrations, and automated tests.
  • Help develop and maintain integrations among ERP, MRP, MES, PLM, warehouse, procurement, finance, and analytics platforms using APIs, events, and batch processing.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  • Monitor application health, investigate issues, and contribute to improvements in performance, reliability, and operational support.
  • Participate in design reviews, code reviews, testing, CI/CD, and documentation to maintain high engineering standards.
  • Learn from teammates, share knowledge, and contribute to an inclusive and collaborative engineering culture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2+ years of full-stack application or software engineering experience after earning a bachelor’s degree; a master’s degree in a technical field plus 1+ year of post-graduate full-stack engineering experience; or a PhD in a relevant technical field.
  • Experience developing full-stack web applications through professional work, internships, significant projects, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Hands-on experience with a modern front-end framework, backend development, relational databases, and APIs.
  • Understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including testing, security, maintainability, performance, and source control.
