About the role
Scale Kin’s brand across every channel: ads, landing pages, email, and video. Part production, part brand evolution, overall a generalist, for a company redefining homeownership.
Responsibilities
- Design and productionize high-quality visual assets across every marketing channel: paid social, landing pages, lifecycle and email, organic social, and display.
- Produce and edit video content for marketing and brand campaigns, from social cuts to longer-form pieces, and raise the bar for how Kin shows up in motion.
- Own the visual execution of campaigns end to end, turning briefs from marketing and growth into polished, on-brand work that ships on deadline.
- Partner with copywriters, growth marketers, and external vendors and agencies to bring concepts to life and keep quality consistent across every touchpoint.
- Push Kin’s brand forward in your day-to-day work, not just executing briefs but evolving the visual language and proposing fresh directions as you go.
- Shape Kin’s evolving visual language as we reposition from home insurance to a broader homeownership platform, so a growing set of products feels like one coherent brand.
- Design and iterate on landing pages built for A/B testing, and use the results to sharpen what works.
- Partner with our Brand Design and Design Systems leads to push and grow Kin’s brand design system, extending it into new areas as the brand evolves.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of visual design experience in a brand or marketing context, with a portfolio that shows polished work across digital channels.
- Proven ability to produce and edit video content for marketing campaigns, from short social cuts to longer-form pieces, including light animation for end cards and in-video overlays.
- Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (including Premiere Pro and AfterEffects for video) and Figma.
- Experience designing for paid social, landing pages, and lifecycle/email, with an understanding of what makes each channel perform.
- A self-starter who can work across multiple mediums and manage several projects at once without heavy direction.
- Experience designing landing pages for A/B testing and iterating based on results.
Benefits
- Competitive salary and company equity through Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), granted as part of our standard compensation package and based on role and level
- 401(k) with company match up to 4% of eligible earnings
- Multiple medical plan options, plus dental and vision coverage
- Company-funded HSA contributions (based on medical plan selection)
- Company-paid life insurance and short-term disability
- A variety of supplemental benefit options, including long-term disability, critical illness, accident, legal, and pet insurance
- Access to mental health support and confidential counseling resources
- Flexible PTO for exempt employees (most employees take 15–20 days per year), plus 8 company-observed holidays
- Paid parental leave, including up to 14 weeks at 100% pay for birthing parents and 8 weeks at 100% pay for non-birthing parents
- Career mobility and internal growth opportunities across the organization
- Professional development budgets for certifications, conferences, and learning available, subject to management approval
