About the role

Senior Product Manager role within Engine’s Lending domain, responsible for owning the roadmap, strategy, and delivery of lending products (overdrafts, unsecured loans, mortgages, credit cards) and cross-cutting capabilities (origination, collections). Hybrid working with preference for proximity to an office.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of a best-in-class lending product by scoping out breakthrough features, and owning the end-to-end delivery of your sub-domain(s) in close alignment with the Product and Engineering domain leaders.
  • Own the Roadmap, vision and strategy for your sub-domain, contributing to the overall lending roadmap
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, designers, document writers, and QA to drive design and delivery of product improvements that align with the business vision
  • Prioritize incoming tasks and clearly communicate the what and the why to internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage deadlines and proactively raise delivery risks impacting client projects
  • Develop close relationship with Delivery and Customer Success teams, assess feature requests and client requirements for roadmap definition
  • Work with Business Development to explain Engine’s capabilities and participate in early-stage Sales conversations as an SME
  • Champion the feature, communicating effectively to different stakeholders
  • Manage difficult conversations with senior stakeholders, balancing strategic direction with pragmatic decision making

Qualifications

  • Proven product experience: PM or PO with experience shipping complex products
  • Lending product track record: built or significantly improved lending products
  • Eager learner with growth mindset
  • FinTech/Banking exposure or understanding of regulated banking/lending environment
  • Technical foundation: product or engineering background or deep technical curiosity
  • Clear communication and stakeholder management: able to explain what, how, and why; comfortable presenting to clients and collaborating with Client Success
  • Ways of working and leadership: experience contributing to team-wide improvements; coaching PMs preferred but not essential
