About the role

Role focused on optimizing cost and value for assigned projects through supplier engagement, new product development costing, and cross-functional cost/value enhancement within the Product Purchasing & Development division.

Responsibilities

  • Supplier Engagement for New Product Development Projects: assist sourcing head to select appropriate supplier candidates, collaborate with suppliers to select primary/secondary packaging options, conduct supplier management to ensure on-time project launch.
  • New Product Development Projects: assess the costing of entire product from Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
  • Cost and Value Enhancement in PLM: identify cost improvement opportunities with cross-functional teams, proactively manage PLM process for cost savings and efficiency, manage Purchase Price Variance (PPV) and optimize Cost Models to drive savings across the value chain.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above in supply chain management, business administration, or related fields.
  • Minimum 3+ years of purchasing & sourcing experience in FMCG, cosmetics, packaging, or chemical industry.
  • Cost saving & manufacturing background is a plus.
  • Good English speaking and presenting skills.
  • Effective communication and analytical skills.
  • Multiple project management skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and a team player.
