About the role

Hybrid position at Cloudflare joining the Investor Relations & Strategic Finance team to support quarterly earnings, financial modeling, investor events, and strategic finance projects for senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Support the end-to-end quarterly earnings process, including drafting and assembling the press release, supplemental financial information, prepared remarks, Q&A prep, and investor deck.
  • Build and maintain the consensus model by collecting and analyzing sell-side estimates and benchmarking against internal forecasts.
  • Support the guidance process, including share count forecasting, sensitivity analyses, and leadership materials.
  • Drive tie-out and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency across all disclosures and materials.
  • Prepare for earnings Q&A with anticipated questions, peer transcript research, and live-call backup material.
  • Coordinate the post-earnings analyst callback program, including scheduling, notes, and feedback summaries.
  • Support day-to-day engagement with sell-side analysts and institutional investors, respond to requests, and maintain the investor database.
  • Plan and run investor events (sell-side conferences, one-on-ones, on-site visits, non-deal roadshows).
  • Prepare briefing materials for executives ahead of investor meetings (profiles, talking points, Q&A prep).
  • Maintain core IR collateral (investor presentation, fact sheets, IR website content).
  • Analyze shareholder ownership and support investor targeting.
  • Support planning and execution of annual Investor Day (invite tracker, content drafting, day-of logistics).
  • Contribute to strategic finance projects (peer benchmarking, competitive analyses, long-range financial modeling, ad-hoc analyses).
  • Monitor and synthesize analyst coverage, peer results, investor sentiment, and industry trends; provide leadership-ready summaries.
  • Build and maintain models, dashboards, trackers, and validation tools; leverage AI-native tooling to increase speed and insight.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in investment banking, equity research, investor relations, FP&A, corporate finance, or equity investing (exposure to public technology companies a plus).
  • Strong financial modeling skills (operating models, consensus models, share count and dilution forecasts).
  • Solid understanding of financial statements, public-company reporting, and valuation; SaaS or consumption-based revenue models a plus.
  • Strong written communication skills; ability to draft clear materials for senior executives and simplify complex concepts.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ownership mindset with ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment, especially during earnings season.
  • High-trust collaboration across Finance, Accounting, Legal, and Communications.
  • AI-native curiosity and skill; fluency with modern AI tooling to amplify impact.
  • Sound judgment with confidential information and materiality; familiarity with Reg FD or willingness to learn.
  • Genuine interest in cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, developer platforms, or AI, and in public markets.
