About the role

Senior individual contributor role owning end-to-end order operations, focusing on automation and scaling of order-to-cash processes across direct and marketplace channels, with collaboration across Deal Strategy, GTM Systems, Finance, and Enterprise Engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Own the order-to-cash path end to end: order form intake from Deal Desk, booking in Salesforce, plan and entitlement setup in Metronome, invoicing and revenue recognition through Rillet, and amendments, true-ups, and renewals
  • Build out cloud marketplace operations across AWS, GCP, and Azure: private offer setup, usage reporting to each marketplace, and reconciling marketplace disbursements back to what was billed
  • Own self-serve billing operations: usage metering, plan changes, dunning, credits, rebills, refunds, and escalations
  • Own billing and usage completeness at month-end close, reconciling Metronome and Rillet before revenue recognition
  • Partner with Deal Strategy and Product on pricing evolution, bringing billing insights into deal-structure decisions
  • Set the automation roadmap: determine what to automate, redesign, or keep manual
  • Treat every billing error as a defect and implement root-cause fixes
  • Ship automations and collaborate with GTM Systems and Enterprise Engineering for core-system work
  • Write playbooks and controls (approvals, segregation of duties, reconciliations, exception handling) to scale order ops via systems
  • Own three metrics: touchless order rate, signature-to-provisioned cycle time, and billing accuracy

Qualifications

  • 6+ years in order management, order-to-cash, billing operations, or revenue operations at a B2B SaaS company
  • Hands-on fluency with a modern billing and ERP stack (e.g., Salesforce, Metronome, Rillet) or comparable systems
  • Experience with usage-based pricing (metered consumption, commits, drawdowns, true-ups)
  • Working knowledge of ASC 606 and month-end close
  • Cloud marketplace experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure private offers) or equivalent depth in a similar system
  • History of automating your own job with measurable impact
  • Ability to align cross-team priorities and drive decisions without formal authority
  • Comfort shipping a v0 and iterating with feedback
