About the role

The Email Marketing Specialist plans, executes, and optimizes email initiatives to drive engagement and ROI, managing end-to-end campaign production, audience segmentation, QA, and performance analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Campaign Execution: Plan and manage the deployment of diverse email campaigns, including newsletters, GTM initiatives, and lifecycle/triggered automations.
  • Production & QA: Manage production schedules to ensure on-time delivery while conducting rigorous QA to guarantee alignment with deliverability best practices and legal compliance.
  • Optimization: Maintain audience segmentation and automated workflows; develop a testing roadmap to optimize subject lines, CTAs, and layouts.
  • Reporting: Monitor metrics and provide actionable insights/recommendations to improve open rates, CTR, and conversions.
  • Collaboration: Partner with content and design teams to develop brand-aligned assets and coordinate tasks using project management tools (e.g., Wrike, Asana).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, related field, or equivalent in experience
  • 2+ years in email marketing
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise ESPs (e.g., Eloqua, Marketo, SFMC, HubSpot) and basic HTML/CSS for email
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Deep understanding of deliverability, segmentation, and dynamic content
  • Background in BioTech or Healthcare industry experience (highly preferred)
