About the role

Technical leader and lead architect for a strategic global health technology customer, owning the Data + AI vision and driving multi-year, multi-unit, regulated deployments from pilot to production.

Responsibilities

  • Define the customer's enterprise Data + AI vision with CxO and VP stakeholders, tied to business priorities; act as executive advisor on platform strategy, governance, and responsible AI.
  • Inspire CTOs and engineering leaders with working examples and prototypes.
  • Lead the account pod technically; set direction for Solutions Architects, Specialists, Delivery SAs, Professional Services and partners; coach to raise the bar.
  • Partner with the Account Executive on account strategy and consumption planning; own technical strategy and path to value for major initiatives.
  • Align pre-sales, delivery and partners to present one Databricks team, plan and escalation path; lead discovery and solution design for strategic, high-risk deployments.
  • Build lasting senior relationships across IT, data & AI, R&D, Quality & Regulatory, Service, Operations and business units.
  • Be the customer voice internally to shape product and GTM strategy; lead modernization programs.
  • Scale GenAI and agentic AI from pilot to production across business units.
  • Build partner ecosystem relationships to scale delivery.
  • Create reusable IP for the Databricks health and life sciences community.

Qualifications

  • Proven record as lead technical figure on a large global enterprise account or as enterprise/chief architect owning the vision over multiple years.
  • Experience leading virtual teams without direct authority; setting direction and aligning specialists, delivery and partners on one plan.
  • Thrives with high autonomy in ambiguous, high-stakes, multi-region environments; excellent communicator across audiences.
