Responsibilities

  • Lead PR programs that elevate Databricks' profile and position leaders at the center of enterprise AI.
  • Lead product and corporate PR initiatives, including product launches, partner announcements, customer storytelling, funding news and acquisitions.
  • Use AI tools and agents to improve workflows and automate routine tasks within PR operations.
  • Oversee creation of high-quality content (press releases, blog posts, op-eds, talking points, etc.).
  • Elevate executive communications and drive materials for external events.
  • Manage agency relationships in North America to align with strategic goals and optimize results.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, corporate development, and executive teams to develop messaging.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of communications experience in an enterprise software or growth-stage technology company
  • Experience with data and AI companies; leading product PR, corporate PR, and partner communications
  • Fluency with AI tools and track record of using them to improve workflows
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaborative, cross-functional partner with product, corporate development, partner marketing, legal, and executives
  • Deep understanding of media and new media landscape with established journalist/editor relationships
  • Experience with crisis communications and reputation management
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field
