About the role

Independent contractor, fully remote, asynchronous sales expert role focused on designing and evaluating realistic sales tasks and scenarios for AI model evaluation and training data.

Responsibilities

  • Build realistic evidence files from provided scenarios (CRM exports, pipeline/forecast reports, emails, proposals, orders, renewal schedules, pricing approvals, commission statements)
  • Write task requests specifying deliverables and handling uncertainty/assumptions
  • Solve each task end to end and document a reference solution with reasoning
  • Write precise scoring criteria ensuring consistent judgments across graders
  • Check own and peers' tasks for accuracy and ambiguity
  • Participate in reviewer feedback within agreed turnaround times and flag guideline gaps
  • Explain to the research team how work in your area is actually done (steps, documents, roles, failure points)
  • Review scenarios and documents created by the team and flag unrealistic aspects

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in at least one of: account executive, account manager, customer success manager, revenue operations, sales operations, deal desk, or pricing (analyst/manager)
  • Working command of methods/rules/systems in your area (e.g., MEDDICC or SPICED, forecast categories, stage exit criteria, renewal/expansion playbooks, discount matrices, non-standard terms, or commission mechanics)
  • Strong spreadsheet skills and ability to reconcile pipeline, quota, and commission figures to their sources
  • Clear, precise professional English writing
  • Ability to work independently and asynchronously against deadlines
