About the role
The Forward Deployed Software Engineer will join Candid Health as a founding member of the Forward team, designing and building technical solutions in the core product while partnering with clients, operations, and sales to solve real-world problems and drive product impact.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement solutions: Design and architect technical solutions in the core product that align with client needs. Fix bugs, implement features, and solve the most critical problems our customers are facing across our entire platform.
- Partner with customers and operations: Build solutions and relationships with subject-matter experts, users, managers, and executives that rely on our platform, serving as the technical expert and clearly communicating technical aspects to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Have broad organizational impact: Work with cross-functional teams (sales, product management, product engineering) to ensure seamless solution implementation, provide feedback to enhance products, and build solutions aligned with long-term product vision.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering.
- Motivated by solving real-world problems that drive mission outcomes.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and growth mindset.
- Empathetic with a strong desire to solve customer problems in a leveraged way that aligns with product strategy and builds trust.
- Enjoys building software iteratively with subject matter experts to deliver exceptional solutions.
