About the role
Design Lead to define and scale the design function for an enterprise AI platform in fintech. Hands-on leadership shaping user experience, system design, and visual identity, reporting to founders.
Responsibilities
- Define and lead the product and visual design strategy across the company.
- Translate complex AI workflows into elegant, intuitive user experiences.
- Create and maintain a scalable design system that serves both internal and external users.
- Own the end-to-end design process—from user research to wireframes to pixel-perfect UI.
- Work closely with product, engineering, and marketing to ensure consistency and quality across all touchpoints.
- Uphold and evolve Model ML’s visual identity, ensuring every screen, slide, and asset reflects our ambition.
- Set up design operations and standards that can scale with the company.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio of B2B SaaS or technical products.
- Experience designing AI product is preferable.
- Ability to distill complexity into clarity—both in user flows and visual hierarchy.
- Experience working closely with engineers and shipping high-quality features at speed.
- A thoughtful, opinionated design aesthetic—but open to iteration and feedback.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills—you’ll be the steward of design thinking at Model ML.
- Deep ambition to help build a generational company.
