About the role
Axle is building the first universal API for insurance. The Staff Engineer will guide and own core platform work involving complex data structuring with LLM inference and durable data acquisition pipelines, impacting customers across insurance data extraction, validation, and verification.
Responsibilities
- Build, and maintain, durable, scalable systems capable of processing millions of complex transactions per month.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience (or equivalent) building complex systems in high-scale environments.
Skills
Required:Experience with large-scale systemsAPI design and maintenanceAI/ML production deployment
Nice to have:Observability and engineering velocity
