About the role

Full Stack Engineer role at Eight Sleep, a remote-friendly sleep tech company. Responsible for building full-stack consumer experiences, ecommerce infrastructure, and the online member experience across the web stack.

Responsibilities

  • Build and own full-stack consumer experiences, from pixel-perfect interfaces to robust, scalable backend infrastructure
  • Run experiments and iterate towards a best-in-class ecommerce storefront that accelerates growth and serves as a compelling first touchpoint for future members
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers across the organization to bring the member experience to the web
  • Shape the future of the growing software team by laying the groundwork for new product areas

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience shipping high-quality consumer web apps using React
  • Expertise in Javascript, TypeScript and Node.js
  • End-to-end knowledge of modern web app architecture (including relational databases, API design, cloud infrastructure, and security) as well as best development practices
  • Familiarity with manipulating and processing complex data
  • BA/BS in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
