Recruiter role at Eight Sleep to identify, evaluate, and hire high-quality candidates across a diverse range of disciplines; focus on creating an exceptional candidate experience and leveraging AI-powered tools.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand team needs and skill requirements
  • Develop and execute tailored sourcing strategies to attract high-quality candidates
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting process, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviews, offer negotiations, and onboarding
  • Utilize a variety of sourcing tools (LinkedIn, GitHub, Stack Overflow, niche job boards, etc.) to find top talent
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs
  • Conduct in-depth screenings (phone screens and in-person/virtual interviews) to assess candidates’ skills and cultural fit
  • Provide an exceptional candidate experience, guiding them through the process and maintaining regular communication
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding processes for new hires
  • Manage recruitment metrics, analyze data, and continuously improve processes to enhance efficiency and candidate quality
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in recruiting and the tech industry

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in consulting, business operations, people operations, recruiting, or talent
  • Background in recruiting for startup environments or high-growth companies
  • Proven ability to recruit for a variety of roles
  • Familiarity with various sourcing techniques, including Boolean search, social media recruiting, and networking
  • Experience with candidate assessment tools and Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Experience managing the full recruitment cycle, from job requisition through offer negotiation and closing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers
  • Passion for tech and startup culture, with a drive to help build great teams
  • A self-starter with experience taking projects from 0-1 with little oversight and ability to articulate the why's and how's in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
