About the role
Experienced Electrical Engineer to bring new products to market for Eight Sleep. In-office role in San Francisco 3-4 days/week. Ownership over electrical design from prototyping to mass production, with opportunities for career growth.
Responsibilities
- Design consumer electronic devices incorporating microcontrollers, SoCs, wireless transceivers, motor drivers, sensors, audio, and LED drivers
- Lead electrical system development including schematic capture, layout, bring-up and characterization, production test infrastructure, and reliability testing
- Collaborate extensively with mechanical engineering, embedded software, industrial design, and product team members, as well as manufacturing team and overseas suppliers
- Generate novel ideas and prototype new product concepts and architectures to define our path forward
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience designing mixed analog and digital systems for consumer electronics or similar applications
- Highly proficient with ECAD packages, especially Altium
- Expertise with SMT and flex PCB manufacturing processes
- Understanding of DOE, root cause, statistical analysis and other quality measuring techniques
- BSEE or equivalent - MS preferred
