Senior Software Engineer role at SoloSuit (Solo) focusing on building software to help people resolve debt lawsuits. Fully remote within the US.

Responsibilities

  • Ship features that help hundreds of thousands of people (soon to be millions).
  • Execute rapidly.
  • Perform code reviews.
  • Investigate and resolve bugs.
  • Write clean code.
  • Estimate tasks and manage your own workflow.
  • Scope features technically and flesh out their UX design where needed.
  • Collaborate with the engineering, product, operations, and growth teams to execute on our roadmap.
  • Help us decide what to build next.
  • Solve complex problems.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years work experience.
  • Desires to move uncomfortably fast.
  • Writes clean code.
  • A track record of writing understandable, maintainable, tested, and secure code.
  • Does good code reviews and receives them well.
  • Dedication to fully root causing production issues.
  • Able to quantify the tradeoffs of various solutions
  • Knowing which solution is appropriate given constraints
  • Believes excellence is the only authority.
  • Discovers reality through data analysis and experimentation.
  • Continuously improves over time.
