About the role

Senior Backend Engineer at Enode, a fast-growing climate tech startup building an energy orchestration platform. Remote-friendly (US), full-time, 3+ years experience, US citizen/visa only. Role involves shaping API direction, working across the stack, and mentoring peers, primarily with TypeScript, React, Node, AWS, Docker, PostgreSQL, CDK/CloudFormation.

Responsibilities

  • Help bring the Enode API to more customers and end-users
  • Lead projects and set technical direction
  • Mentor teammates and collaborate with Product & Design to shape long-term direction
  • Ship MVPs and drive impact for customers across the stack when needed

Qualifications

  • Five+ years of production experience
  • Strong fundamentals in at least one programming language
  • Experience across the full stack and collaboration with Product & Design
  • Comfort with TypeScript-based stack (Typescript, React, Node, AWS, Docker, SQL PostgreSQL, CDK/CloudFormation)
  • Located between UTC+3 and UTC-2
