About the role

Remote product engineer role at Anima focused on personalized medicine and active reinforcement learning. Emphasis on shipping fast, end-to-end ownership, strong CS fundamentals, and UX-driven development within a scalable, serverless AWS stack.

Responsibilities

  • You’ll own your projects end to end and ship fast.
  • You’ll work with an incredibly smart team and contribute to multiple projects.
  • You’ll learn new technologies as needed to solve problems.
  • You’ll work on a well-established stack that’s scalable, secure, and performant with minimal ops.

Qualifications

  • Track record of relentless shipping.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and tackle novel technical challenges from conception to production.
  • Strong CS Fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, first-principles thinking).
  • Expert-level in TypeScript; full-stack JS/Node.js proficiency.
  • Hands-on expertise with React, Angular, or Node.js; ability to move between frontend and backend.
  • Experience architecting on AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, CloudFormation) or strong willingness to learn serverless infra.
  • Disciplined about version control, CI/CD, and code extensibility; values interface safety.
  • Obsessive about UX and optimizing for user experience.
