Responsibilities

  • Validate Output Quality: Rigorously test and evaluate the model’s financial outputs for correctness, edge cases, and domain consistency.
  • Investigate Errors: Diagnose model failure modes, root-cause them, and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Translate Finance Intuition into Product: Convert real-world financial experience into heuristics, rules, or guardrails for model behavior.
  • Influence Roadmap Priorities: Recommend where to invest development effort based on user needs (e.g., sector specialization, comparables, forecasting logic).
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with ML engineers, data scientists, and product teams to align metrics, trade-offs, and UX.

Qualifications

  • Experience in investment banking, private equity, sell-side research, public markets investing (mid-cap or larger), or FP&A and strategic or corporate finance.
  • Strong conviction about high-quality financial analysis and ability to spot inconsistencies.
  • Enjoy bridging domain knowledge and technical product design.
  • Interest in shaping AI usage in finance in an early-stage, high-ambiguity environment.
