About the role

T:0 is building an AI-native accounting platform. As a Staff Backend Engineer, design and operate distributed, event-driven systems for high-volume financial data; build production-grade Python services with FastAPI and Pydantic; own end-to-end data architecture; develop reliable infrastructure primitives; collaborate with ML and product teams to productionize AI-driven workflows; define architecture of an AI-native financial stack; role based in San Francisco with hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities

  • Design and operate distributed, event-driven systems that process high-volume, high-sensitivity financial data with strict correctness and latency guarantees.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of backend engineering experience, including substantial experience with Python at scale.
