About the role

Product Designer at Rilla, an early-stage, in-office NYC team building AI-powered sales coaching software for offline workflows. You will co-lead design from discovery to implementation, shape design culture, and work across desktop and mobile while collaborating directly with customers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects from discovery through feature design and implementation without PMs, collaborating with engineering
  • Onboard customers to early prototypes, gather feedback, and iterate rapidly
  • Define design culture and collaborate with a small design team to ship high-quality experiences across desktop and mobile
  • Engage directly with customers to uncover real-world problems and ensure solutions meet needs

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated deep drive and genuine passion for craft
  • Customer-centric approach with direct user engagement
  • Commitment to quality, craftsmanship, intuitive interactions, and delightful learning experiences
  • Ability to join an early-stage, high-growth startup and shape product culture as an early designer
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment with rapid shipping and learning from customers
  • Nice to have: production-level coding experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript or front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Tailwind) and willingness to continue learning
