About the role

Attorney focused on representing clients in Social Security Disability benefits, with opportunities to lead or support technology-enabled projects in a venture-backed startup.

Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in pursuit of Social Security Disability benefits.
  • Work with a small team of attorneys and paralegals to provide high-standard representation.
  • Handle 25-50 clients simultaneously (active load varies).
  • Lead or support projects at the intersection of client service and technology, collaborating with product/engineering teams.

Qualifications

  • Admitted to the bar in any state.
  • Degree from a top law school with strong academic performance.
  • Experience in high-volume direct services legal practice or at a top law firm.
  • Resourceful team player ready to work in a scrappy startup environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to helping people.
