About the role

Engineering Manager for the Growth Pod leading a full-stack product pod focused on growth initiatives, experimentation, and data-driven delivery."

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the team roadmap and day-to-day technical work
  • Shape team culture and processes
  • Develop the careers of team members
  • Review PRs, contribute to architecture, and dive into technical details when needed
  • Lead a four-engineer, PM, designer, and data scientist Growth Pod in rapid experimentation and data-driven decision making
  • Ensure high-quality output and coaching of technical work

Qualifications

  • Managed a team of at least three engineers for more than a year
  • Grow engineers including senior ICs and early-career developers; conduct hard performance conversations
  • Experience in a high-performing product organization with strong PMs and designers; engineers own product outcomes
  • Experience operating with ambiguity and limited resources (startup or internal startup within a larger company)
  • Used AI coding tools seriously in the past year with a clear view on their benefits and avoiding shipping slop
  • Hands-on; write code, review it, and participate in how systems are built
