Engineering Manager - EU
About the role
Engineering Manager role focused on building and leading an engineering team in Europe with hands-on leadership, ownership, and emphasis on performance, culture, and reducing process friction to empower engineers to own projects end-to-end.
Responsibilities
- Provide feedback on product and technical specs to help engineers identify where to cut scope or improve quality. You don’t make the final decisions, but you’ll influence and coach ICs to reach the right ones.
- Grow engineers to take large, loosely defined projects and deliver them with little intervention.
- Jump into systems and code to debug customer issues, ship small bug fixes, or improve developer experience.
- Improve how we generate and simulate data in demo accounts.
- Build and strengthen engineering culture focused on ownership, autonomy, and high-trust environment.
Qualifications
- Experience leading engineering teams as a manager (Engineering Manager or equivalent).
- Strong technical background with comfort coding and staying hands-on.
- Ability to design and implement scalable processes that empower engineers rather than prescribe detailed tasks.
- Excellent communication and empathy to coach and give feedback across infra, backend, and frontend teams.
- Ability to recruit, grow, and retain exceptional engineers and build a high-performing team.
